June Ethnic Festivals in Chicago

Maifest Chicago, June 1-4, Lincoln Square. This lively street festival features your favorite German foods, cold beer, and two stages of live music all weekend long.

Lincoln Park Greek Fest, June 2-4, located at 2701 N Sheffield Avenue. Think outside the gyro! There’s a variety of Greek food available, plus live entertainment, dancing, beer and wine, and activities for the kids.

Taste of Little Village: Flavors of Mexico, June 2-4, located at 26th & California Ave. This family-friendly fiesta includes a carnival, arts and crafts, live music, and delicious Mexican food from a dozen Chicago restaurants.

Andersonville Midsommarfest, June 9-11, located at 5200 N. Clark St. What began as a Swedish heritage festival is now one of the biggest bashes in Chicago! There’s still plenty of Swedish food, music and entertainment, but this is no mere polka party. There are five stages featuring a diverse musical lineup, plus a variety of cuisine to please virtually every palate.

Festa Pasta Vino, June 16-18, located at 24th Street & Oakley Ave. A celebration of Italian cuisine and culture! Three entertainment stages, delicious Italian food and wines, plus a Florentine market.

June Community Events and Festivals in Chicago and the Northwest Suburbs

Two Brothers Summer Festival, June 2-3, located at RiverEdge Park, Aurora. Enjoy craft beers, great food and live music. Proceeds support local charities.

Do Division Street Fest & Sidewalk Sale, June 2-4, located on Division Street between Ashland and Leavitt. This eclectic street festival includes live music, a fashion show, sidewalk sale, food and beverages, plus a Family Fun Fest on Saturday and Sunday.

Buffalo Grove Art Festival, June 3-4, located at the Buffalo Grove Town Center. This show has a large variety of upscale hand-crafted items created by juried artists, along with live music, food, and children’s art activities.

Uncork Illinois, June 3, located in downtown Oak Park. Sample a variety of wines and artisan foods while enjoying live music. Visit the website for ticket details.

Chicago Blues Festival, June 9-11, Millennium Park. Experience the iconic music of the Windy City, performed by top blues artists.

Promenade of Art, June 10-11, Arlington Heights. Browse the hand-crafted creations of 100 artists, while enjoying live music, food and beverages. Activities for the kids.
